happy mid-autumn festival everyone!

did you guys check out the moon tonight? also, i was pointing out the moon (literally) to my mom from the car on the way home just now and she immediately chided me for doing so. a quick search on google tells me that people believe if you do so...

1. you get a cut behind your ear
2. you get a cut on your tongue

i was brought up to believe that no.1 would happen, and thinking about it now there was this point of time when i was still a kid and i had this cut in my ear after pointing at the moon the previous night........ any personal experiences? =p

people in my estate must have thought i was crazy, this guy even approached me to ask me if i was taking photos for my assignment. didn't play with candles/lanterns/sparklers this year :/




silent gratitude to all the families who still behaved so normally when my camera was snapping away... especially liked this very quiet family as they lit up a longgg row of candles on the floor, and just allowed their little girls to light up their sparklers to play. cute (:
